His holiness Sheikh Jalal Aldean alsagheer denied reports of Aljazeera channel’s allegations of the failure of Cairo conference for the preparation committee for the Iraqi National Reconciliation conference to propose the date for the next meeting. All parties agreed to postpone the selection of the Iraqi National Reconciliation conference date to the next preparation conference following month of Ramadan.
This agreement according to his holiness was to give the chance to the government and Dr Almaleki initiative to sink in and appreciation to the current security situation developments. There was no big debate on this issue, on the contrary all main participants including the ones objecting the political process like the Sunni scholars committee, agreed to this opinion.
His holiness indicated to Almeda and National News Agency and others : this conference succeeded to come out with all parties accord with the final announcement of the conference which was supporting the previous preparation conference. He also emphasising that this conference had serious discussions and honest dialogues between the participants which resulted to introduce a process to reduce the current gaps between all of them.
His holiness emphasised that the Iraqi Unified Coalition did not compromise our stand and commitments towards the constitution or the political process or our martyrs and victims. He express his joy because the conference was a great opportunity to explain some of unclear and mysteries points of the Iraqi situation to the Arabic countries which led to noticeable effects in changing some of them to a more practical solutions.
On the other hand, sources of the Unified Coalitions indicated that his holiness did not return with the coalition representatives in order to continue talks with number of Egyptians officials, Mr omar Mousa and meeting Sheikh Alazhar.
