A source in the Interior ministry said” Iraqi and American joint forces surrounded today a residential compound next to Sheraton and Meridian hotel down town Baghdad , for the suspicion of the existence of improvised explosives factory”.
The source added to the voices of Iraq “ The joint forces raided and searched a flat belong to an Arabic doctor who was arrested earlier on Monday and suspected of being involved in making explosives devices used in attacks against security forces and civilians in Baghdad”.
The source added “The suspect lives in one building of the Al-Ferdous residential compound down town of Baghdad, was arrested and found a laboratory in his flat”. The sources didn’t give details about the type of the laboratory or it usages. He clarified that the joint forces surrounded the compound to investigate the presence of a place to make improvised explosives devices in the area without giving any more details of the search results of the joint forces in the compound.
