Diyala representative in the parliament Mr Taha Al-Sadeei from the Unified National Coalition demanded the parliament leader and high rank government officials to visit Diyala and meet the citizens who suffer from terrorists controlling the province.
He also demanded from the interior ministry to review their appraisals to the police leaders and officers on daily basses depend on the incidents taken place in this province. The one who lack commitment to enforce the law and order should be punished and removed from the post.
He added:
“It is not acceptable to have 10000 police forces and still witness daily vicious killing of our innocent citizens”.
He said “We respect the presence of the army new leaders with their officers and soldiers and their quick reaction to any incident and punish who is responsible for any failure. At the same time condemn the failure, weakness, delayed response and lack of citizen’s confidence in the police”.
Mr Al-sadeei said:
“The main market in Baquba, which is less than 4Km in length, witnessed the killing of 276 innocent shoppers or shopkeepers in one year by fundamentalist terrorists in front of the police. The terrorists disappeared in the market without any chase from the present police.
