Said a security source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry, six Iraqi soldiers were killed today in an armed attack carried out by unknown persons in the province of Diala, while four armed men were arrested in a separate incident in the same province. The source said in a statement that "unknown armed men attacked today checkpoint Iraqi police near the town of (a Rose) in the Diala province, north-east of Baghdad, causing the death of six Iraqi soldiers and wounding 15 others, while killed in the attack one of the armed men." In the meantime, the source in the center of joint coordination to joint force of the army and the Iraqi police raided and searched in some of the villages near the town (Tepa) of the Khanaqin district. The force managed to arrest the three terrorists and wounding a fourth was injured after armed clashes between gunmen and Iraqi security forces.
