Interior ministry: Terrorists exploiting the religious places of worship to attack security forces and innocent civilians.

An announcement from the interior ministry said: “The ministry forces noticed an increasing exploitation to religious places of worship by terrorists.

 Terrorists using these places

-          To fire directly and target security forces and innocent civilians,

-          To stock ammunitions and weapons

-          A media tool to promote violence and sectarians unrest provocation between Iraqis.

The announcement emphasises that all the legal measures will be applied to those promoting sectarians unrest or affecting the security and stability of the Iraqi people.”
