Vice president of province of Diyala counsel accused Mojahedin Khalq (People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran) supporting and sponsors terrorists’ activity in the Baquba city. The vice president sheikh Al-Assady said “Mojahedin Khalq exploits their presence in Baquba to confuse the security situation through support and sponsorship the anti government figures and pay thousands of dollars as bribes and gifts to their collaborators”
Sheikh Al-Assady demanded from the Iraqi government and parliament to take firm stand against accusations to Iraqi officials made by organization chief Dawlat Norzi.
He added “ the organization based in Al-Utheem managed to win the support of a number of former regime security and intelligence apparatus in addition to the tribe leaders loyal to Saddam to create a council to rescue Diyala province lead by previous governor Abdulallah A-Joubouri”. This council has the same name of Al-Anbar rescue council but with different agenda to support terrorist not fighting them.
Al-Assady demanded from the government and the parliament to adopt a decision to expel the elements of this organization out of the country, because their support and backing to the terrorists in the province financially and militarily.
